  • The National Land Cover Database is an American Floor Covering database that from consisting of several federal Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics is published consortium. The most recent version is from 2011 (NLCD2011).

    The National Land Cover Database is based on Landsat satellite images and classifies the surface into 16 different land use forms.
