The National Normal University was a teacher training college in Lebanon, Ohio , USA .

history

It first opened its doors as Southwestern State Normal College in 1855 , before being renamed National Normal University in 1870 . Alfred Holbrook was the first rector of that university and remained largely one of its leaders throughout its existence.

The college went bankrupt in 1895 until the doors finally closed in 1917.

All school records and records were taken from Wilmington College in Wilmington , Ohio .
