Jess Hahn

Jess Hahn (born October 29, 1921 in Terre Haute , Indiana , † June 29, 1998 in Saint-Malo , Brittany ) was a French actor of American descent.

Life

Hahn came to France on a scholarship in 1950 to study at the Sorbonne ; However, two years later he broke it off. Thanks to the acquaintance of a friend with the director Maurice Labro , he got his first film role. Specializing in supporting roles as a gangster, Hahn received his only starring role in Éric Rohmers In the Sign of the Lion (1959).
