Reviews

Cinema magazine described the film as "an underrated spaghetti westerly" .

Frank Brenner wrote on digitalvd.de: “Giancarlo Santi obviously kept a close eye on his teacher Sergio Leone, because his film has become an insider tip for genre lovers. The story is of a skilfully kept tension simmering, some subtle comic elements loosen up the whole thing without branding it completely as a laughing stock. "

The Italian critics were not enthusiastic: "The film is full of banal scenes, the characters are schematic to the point of absurdity, and it lacks any imagination to deal with situations and moments differently than one is used to," said Vice in Avanti magazine!
