National Progressive Party ( German  National Progressive Party , abbreviation NPP ) was a political party in the former Northern Rhodesia , today's Zambia .

The National Progressive Party was a white minority party in Northern Rhodesia. There were no members of any other ethnic group. Its chairman was Hugh Stanley (?), Who had been Mayor of Kitwe in 1958/59 . In the election in Zambia in 1964 , she won all whites reserved seats in the Zambian Legislative Council ( legislative council ), which on 14 December 1964, two months after independence as the Republic of Zambia in the National Assembly of Zambia has been renamed. The NPP did not run for the 1968 election in Zambia .
