The Lao National Olympic Committee office at the National Stadium

The Laos National Stadium , also Chao-Anouvong Stadium called, is a stadium in Vientiane , Laos . It is currently mainly used for soccer games. There is space for 20,000 spectators. The National Stadium is located on Khun Lu Bom Road in central Vientiane, right next to the National Museum and less than 1 km northwest of the Presidential Palace. The Lao National Olympic Committee has an office in the National Stadium.

In 2009, the New National Stadium , 17 km northwest, was opened, which now functions as the national stadium.
