Nattler

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nattler is a German family name.

The original name and the profession associated with the name - as was often the case - is Nadler ( wire puller ). Even in Fugger's time, the "needler" was making the needles that were used for handicrafts relating to textiles and accessories in the Fugger house. The name Nattler arose from the fact that there were needles who could produce higher quality and harder needles (such as circular needles) that could also be used to work on solid leather. This development contributed to the fact that Fugger rose to the nobility around 1500, Jakob Fugger the Rich established his breakthrough as a merchant and achieved world-famous fame.

In connection with the railroad, the name Nattler caused a sensation in the USA. In cooperation with the British, parts of the know-how for the construction of the route for the first railway line (Massachusetts 1826) were supplied.
