Natural listings

As Natural Listings or organic search results (English organic search results ) is referred to the list of Web pages that a search engine outputs in the unpaid area for a search query. In addition to the organic search results, paid links are usually displayed in the form of advertising .

The position within the organic search results results from the respective ranking algorithm. The factors involved and their weighting vary from search engine to search engine. For example, the frequency and position of the search term (technical term keyword ) in the HTML text or the quantity and quality of the incoming links to a website ( backlinks ) are taken into account .

Search engine optimization is concerned with influencing the positioning within the natural listing .
