Rila Monastery Natural Park - Welcome and Waterfall

The Rila Monastery Nature Park ( Bulgarian Природен парк Рилски манастир ) is located east of the Rila Monastery , in the Rila Mountains in Bulgaria . The park was established in 2000. It covers an area of ​​25,253.2 hectares. 8,883.2 hectares of this are high mountain pastures, the rest are forest areas. The foundation of the nature park pursues the goal of protecting valuable plant and animal species and preserving the diversity of the tourist locations.
