Nauru Pacific Line
The Nauru Pacific Line (NPL) is a state shipping line of the island state of Nauru .
The NPL owns five of its own and two chartered ships, which are used in the ocean for cargo transports and rarely for tourist purposes. Frequently visited countries are Australia , New Zealand and Fiji as well as the Northern Mariana Islands .
The Nauruan Phosphate Society (NPC) previously chartered NPL ships for the export of phosphates . Since phosphate exports have been falling since 2000, the NPC seldom charter ships of the NPL.
