Neisse University

The Neisse University is a university network of Zittau / Görlitz in Germany , the Technical University of Liberec in the Czech Republic and the Technical University of Wroclaw in Poland . The participating universities jointly offer courses.

history

The university network was founded in 2001, three years before the EU enlargement in 2004 , and was then considered a pilot project. In the same year, students from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic were enrolled for the first time for the bachelor's degree in "Information and Communication Management". The first president was Peter Schmidt. In 2004 ACQUIN was accredited . In the same year Klaus ten Hagen was elected as the new President, who was replaced by Jaroslav Vild in 2007.

The lectures are held in English only. The place of study changes annually from Liberec (1st year) via Jelenia Gora (2nd year) to Zittau / Görlitz (3rd year).
