Accreditation, certification and quality assurance institute
The ACQUIN eV ( A kkreditierungs-, C ertifizierungs- and Qu alitätssicherungs- I nstitut) is one of ten accrediting agencies , on behalf of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Study Programs in Germany evaluating technical and content of courses with a Bachelor / Bachelor and Master / Master's degree nationally and internationally.
The agency is organized as a registered association . Its members include around 170 universities in Germany , Austria , Switzerland , Hungary , the Middle East, Kazakhstan , China and the USA, as well as academic professional associations. The seat is in Bayreuth , where the office is also located. The founding president was Klaus Dieter Wolff .
Cooperations
The association is a member of international associations and project initiatives that are helpful in achieving the association's goals and is involved in international, in particular European, associations of institutions for external quality assurance. Memberships exist with:
