Nesselsdorf electric vehicle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nesselsdorf electric car was a four-seater car, which the Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau-Fabriks-Gesellschaft in 1900 on the chassis of the type of four brought out.

The vehicle had two electric motors with 3 HP (2.2 kW) each installed on the rear axle under the floor of the vehicle. These motors presumably come from the Elektricitäts-AG Frankfurt . They were suspended together with the rear axle on semi-elliptical springs, so they were part of the unsprung mass of the 972 kg vehicle. The accumulators were attached to the bottom of the car between the benches. The achievable maximum speed was 21 km / h.

Only one car of this type was created.
