Redelivery

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In German legislation, the new publication refers to the publication of the new version of laws and ordinances .

purpose

Legal texts are inherently incomprehensible due to amendment laws and therefore increasingly useless for the legal addressee. As part of the regular consolidation of the law , the new announcement places the relevant main law on a new official text basis. As a rule, in the legislative process with the amendment law, a notice of authorization is issued , upon which the law may be published again in the respective announcement gazette (for the Federal Republic of Germany e.g. the Federal Law Gazette ).

The legal addressee receives an official reading version, the new version, of the current legal text. This includes the authentic and flawless wording of the law or ordinance applicable on the relevant reference date. In the new version, only the previously formally resolved and announced changes may be taken into account.
