New Croatian Initiative

The New Croatian Initiative ( Nova Hrvatska Inicijativa , acronym NHI ) was a liberal party of the Croatian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina . It was founded by Krešimir Zubak and was based in Sarajevo . In October 2007 it joined forces with the Croatian Farmers 'Party to form the Croatian Farmers' Party in Bosnia and Herzegovina - New Croatian Initiative .

founding

It was founded by Krešimir Zubak on June 27, 1998, when he left the HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina . However, he failed to convince voters to vote for his NHI.

fusion

The political stagnation led to the fact that the NHI and the Croatian Peasant Party merged on October 1, 2007. The new Croatian Peasant Party in Bosnia and Herzegovina-New Croatian Initiative keeps both names.

position

The NHI sees itself as a Christian-democratic party and stands for a multi-ethnic Bosnia.
