New town hall Rhede

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The new building of the Rhede Town Hall was inaugurated in 1994 after a two-year construction period. The town hall of Rhede had previously been in almost the same place in a converted school building, the former Gudula school on Neustraße. This makeshift solution was demolished in 1993 as part of the city's city center project. The so-called Rheder Egg, a multifunctional event hall, is located in the town hall.

The Rheder Egg (officially Rheder Council and Culture Hall) is a multifunctional event hall in the town hall. The name originated from the oval shape. The hall is used for events and culture. Council meetings also take place there.
