NeurIPS (short for Neural Information Processing Systems ) is a non-profit foundation based at the Salk Institute in La Jolla , California . The main purpose is to hold the annual NeurIPS conference, which has been taking place since 1987. She deals with advances in machine learning and computational neuroscience . Around 200 new scientific publications are presented each year .
