Neutral point
The term neutral point is used in different areas:
- In chemistry, the neutral point in an acid-base reaction describes the state of a solution which, according to the definition of the pH value, is called a neutral solution.
- In fluid mechanics, the neutral point (fluid dynamics) denotes the reference point that is important for calculating the longitudinal stability.
- In electrical engineering , the neutral point is the common point of a multi-phase system in the form of a star connection .
