Specialized lens , here a wide angle

A specialist lens is a photographic recording lens that is used in so-called specialist cameras , in particular large format cameras.

Specialized lenses are usually screwed into a central lock, which in turn is inserted in the center of a corresponding hole on a lens plate. Some of the lenses are also used with rear lens shutters. The lens is inserted into the front standard of the view camera with the lens plate.
