Felix Aprahamian

Abraham Felix Barter Aprahamian (born June 5, 1914 in London ; † January 15, 2005 there ) was a British music critic and author .

Aprahamian was music editor for The Listener in London from 1966 to 1967 and worked for numerous newspapers and magazines, including The Sunday Times .

Aprahamian was considered a proven organ expert. He became known, among other things, through his published 50-year correspondence with the composer Olivier Messiaen .

He left his estate to the Royal College of Organists (RCO).
