The Ngakywenadaung Pagoda is a Buddhist stupa in Bagan , Myanmar .

history

It was built around the middle of the 10th century under King Taungthugyi .

description

The pagoda stands within the city walls northwest of Thatbinnyu Temple and is one of the oldest stupas in Bagan. With its melon or pumpkin shape, it represents the Pyu architectural style .
