Marco Michel (born November 2, 1984 in Baden , Canton Aargau ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

Marco Michel attended kindergarten and initially the Waldorf School in Ittigen in the canton of Bern up to grade 10 . From 2001 to 2004 he went to the Muristalden high school in Bern . After a period of "wandering years" with traveling, various jobs, a discontinued degree and his community service , he decided to do acting and from 2008 to 2010 attended the Western Pomerania Theater Academy . As a member of the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne Anklam he was involved in various theater productions.

He completed his acting studies from 2010 to 2014 at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich . He attended workshops a. a. with Lena Lessing and Giles Foreman . During his studies he made guest appearances at the Metropoltheater Munich (2012–2013) and performed productions of the Akademietheater in the Munich Prinzregententheater .

After completing his studies, Michel has since worked as a freelance actor for film, television and theater. He had theater engagements at the “Teatro Olinda” in Milan (2014–2015, with the play “Pitùr”) and at the Stadttheater Ulm (2015). Since 2015 he has performed the one-man play "A Kiss - Antonio Ligabue " on various stages, including a. in Bern, Zurich and St. Gallen . In a production of the "a.gon theater production Munich" he was next to Hardy Krüger jr. (in the main role) from 2015 to 2017 as Leutnant Werner in a stage version of the novel “ Das Boot ” on a theater tour. In autumn 2017 he took part in the music theater performance “LUTHER dancing with the gods” by the American artist and director Robert Wilson in the Pierre Boulez Hall in Berlin .

Marco Michel is also a founding member of the German- Polish dance-theater artist collective "little: interference", with whose productions he has also made international guest appearances. a. in Krakow and St. Petersburg .

Michel stood in front of the camera for filming in Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain . He participated in several productions of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation . He had episode roles u. a. in the television series “ Dahoam is Dahoam ” (2012, as mentally disabled basketball player David), “ Hubert and Staller ” (2015) and in the “ Kommissar Pascha ” crime thriller (2017, as a waiter from Calabria Gianni). In the ARD -Telenovela “ Sturm der Liebe ” he was seen in a series of several episodes in May 2016 (from episode 2459); He played the good-looking yoga teacher Ralph Brandl, known as "Keeran", who has returned from India and is applying for a job at the "Fürstenhof".

In the movie “ Through the Night ” (2017), which depicts the nightly odyssey of the young law student Alex through the streets of the big city on a Saturday evening, Michel played the male lead.

Marco Michel lives in Berlin. He is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS).
