Lena Lessing

Lena Lessing (born October 5, 1960 in Berlin ) is a German actress , director and lecturer in acting.

Life

Lena Lessing trained as an actor at the Actors Studio in New York City . Since then she has appeared in various film and television productions, most recently in a small supporting role in The Reader . As an acting coach, for example, she taught Nina Hoss and Dominique Horwitz and was the coach of Cate Blanchett . She was also active as a dialogue coach on film sets, including Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino . Lessing lectured at the Oxford School of Drama, at the Actors Center London and coaches regularly in Switzerland. In addition to German, she speaks English, Italian and French. She lives in Berlin.
