The Cerro Peró , Guaraní Yvyty Perõ (German: bald mountain ), also Cerro Tres Kandú or Cerro 3 Kandú , is the highest point in the South American state of Paraguay with a height of 842  m . It is located in the Guairá department in the municipality of General Eugenio A. Garay and is part of the Cordillera del Ybytyruzú and the Ybytyruzú National Park .

The survey is of strategic importance for the Paraguayan military and telecommunications in Paraguay.

In the Cordillera del Ybytyruzú there are two further elevations with the name Cerro Peró near the places Villarrica and Mbuyapey .
