The Ngombe dagger , also called M 'bamba , is an African knife . African knives were developed and used in different countries and by different ethnic groups in Africa as weapons of war, hunting, culture and civil status. The respective designation of the weapon refers to a variant of this weapon type that is assigned to a certain ethnic group .
description
The Ngombe dagger has a straight, leaf-shaped, double-edged blade. The blade is initially oval on the handle , then becomes wider and tapers again towards the location . The blade has a deep hollow grind on the oval part and a straight, angular central ridge on the rest of the blade. The place is rounded. Light, snake-shaped patterns and red, point-shaped patterns are painted on each side of the blade surface. The booklet is made of wood and is wrapped with metal wire. The Ngombe dagger is used by the Ngombe ethnic group.
