Nick Berry (real name: Nicholas Berry ; born April 16, 1963 in London ) is a British actor and singer.
Life
Nick Berry was trained at the Sylvia Young Theater School . After a few minor supporting roles, his biggest role was that of barman Simon Wicks in the BBC soap opera EastEnders , which he played from 1985 to 1990. The ballad Every Loser Wins performed by him in the series was released as a single and reached number 1 in the UK charts, and an album by him was also released.
From 1992 to 1998 he played Sergeant Nick Rowan in the British police series Heartbeat . The theme song he sang in the series reached number 2. After this time he played in the series Harbor Lights and In Deep .
