Lower Saxony research center for aviation

The Lower Saxony Research Center for Aviation ( NFL ) was founded in 2009 in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) to promote basic research for efficient, environmentally friendly and safe flying. In 2012, the NFL received a new research building at Braunschweig-Wolfsburg Airport with numerous laboratories. The aims of research are resource conservation, economic solutions and safety in air traffic.
