Henrichshütte elevated water tank

The elevated water tank Henrichshütte is a water tower of the type Klönne at the Hüttenstraße (L 705) in Hattingen . It was built in 1905 on behalf of the company Henschel & Sohn , Kassel, and served the Henrichshütte as an emergency reservoir for the service water supply to the blast furnace system in the event of a failure of the cooling water supply pumps. He is 19 m high.

The neighboring low-pressure tank is located 70 m east of the elevated water tank. It was built in 1959 and has a capacity of 3000 m³.
