The collection of famous Zuihitsu ( Japanese 日本 の 名 随筆 , Nihon no meizuihitsu ) is a collection of Japanese Zuihitsu ( miscell literature , also essay) published by the Sakuhin Verlag ( 作品 社 ). The collection includes Zuihitsu famous personalities since the Meiji period on various topics.

The anthology comprises more than 7,000 Zuihitsu and essays by over 2,000 authors in 200 volumes . It consists of 2 departments, a main part with 100 volumes, with one volume corresponding to approx. 250 pages in B6 format, and a special part with 100 volumes. In addition to the source information, the special section also includes a small profile of each author.

The individual volumes appeared monthly from October 1982 over a period of 16 years and 8 months. The complete complete edition was published in June 1998. A year later, the editors of Sakusha Verlag received the Mainichi Culture Prize for the edition . A tape currently costs 1,800 yen.
