Niklas Würzner (born February 2, 1994 in Heidelberg ) is a German basketball player. He is under contract with the second division USC Heidelberg .

career

Würzner played for TSG Ziegelhausen until the age of twelve and then continued his career in the youth department of USC Heidelberg  . In Mannheim and at the Kurpfalz Baskets Rhein-Neckar, a syndicate of several clubs, he was used in the youth basketball league and became a service provider there.

From the 2013/14 season he gained experience in the regional league men's team at USC Heidelberg, and in the following season his first appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA were added. In the 2017/18 season Würzner succeeded in becoming a top performer in Heidelberg, he scored an average of 9.6 points per match in 35 league appearances, prepared 4.8 basket successes for his teammates and recorded 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 ball wins.

National team

In 2019 Würzner was appointed to the German national team in the basketball game "3-on-3" .
