Nicotine lock

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nicotine barrier or nicotine barrier paint is a pigmented coating that makes it possible to paint nicotine-soiled walls to cover them.

The nicotine barrier prevents the penetration of nicotine to the surface. In the case of water-soluble paints , nicotine is dissolved with the water and comes to the surface, so that even after a new coat of paint, white wall paint often turns yellow.
