The Niuafo'ouan language belongs to the group of Polynesian languages and is spoken on Tonga's northernmost island Niuafo'ou . Niuafo'ouan is most closely related to Wallisian (Eastern Uvean). It is probably even classified as a dialect of Wallisian.
