Noem
The Noem (pronunciation Noēm, Greek nóema "thought") is the smallest element of meaning of a semem . According to Leonard Bloomfield , the meaning carried by the noem is part of a glossary which represents the smallest linguistic unit. Noemes are part of the semantics .
The doctrine or science of the Noemen is Noematics . It describes both the relationships between the noemes and their possible combinations.
