The Norsk Utvandrermuseum in the municipality of Stange in Norway is a migration and open-air museum .

More than a million Norwegians emigrated worldwide between 1825 and 2000; about 80% of it to the USA, 5% to Canada and the rest to all other parts of the world. In 1914 the idea of founding a migration museum in Norway arose, but it was not until 1954 that a log cabin was brought from North Dakota to Bygdøy and exhibited there. It has been a migration museum since 1955. Today the log house is part of the open-air museum in the Ottestad district in the municipality of Stange.
