North Australia (Territory)
North Australia was an Australian federal territory in the north of the continent.
The territory was created on February 1, 1927. At that time, today's Northern Territory was divided into two parts, North Australia and Central Australia . On June 12, 1931, this division was reversed by the North Australia Act of the Australian central government.
