North East Antifascists

The North East Antifascists , NEA for short, is one of the main players in the field of autonomous Antifa in Berlin and, according to the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution, is a left-wing extremist group founded in 2007 .

In addition to anti-fascist activities, which also take place mainly in north-east Berlin with the use of force and according to the name , the North East Antifascists are primarily committed to combating gentrification . Further topics of the group are the commemoration of the murdered victims of right-wing extremists and the mobilization against parties from the field of right-wing populism .

Ideologically less firmly established, the group says it rejects the state capitalism of the Eastern bloc states and turns against the state and nation . Rather, she sees freedom realized in anarchism and libertarian communism .
