The North Gloucestershire Railway ( NGR ) or Toddington Narrow Gauge Railway is a museum - narrow-gauge railway with a track width of 2 feet , the (610 mm) along the normalspurigen Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway at Toddington runs. It was built in 1985 when the Dowty Railway Preservation Society was looking for a new home for their collection of narrow gauge vehicles. The rails were purchased from the Southend Pier Railway .
