North Tyneside (constituency)

The North Tyneside constituency

North Tyneside is a constituency for the British House of Commons . The constituency was created for the 1997 general election. He sends a representative to parliament.

Limits

  • 1997–2010: Metropolitan Borough of North Tyneside with the Wards Battle Hill, Benton, Camperdown, Holystone, Howdon, Longbenton, Riverside, Valley, and Weetslade.
  • since 2010: Metropolitan Borough of North Tyneside with the wards Battle Hill, Benton, Camperdown, Howdon, Killingworth, Longbenton, Northumberland, Riverside, Wallsend, and Weetslade.

The Ward Wallsend was previously part of the constituency of Newcastle upon Tyne East and Wallsend , which became the constituency of Newcastle upon Tyne East as a result of the changes in 2010 .
