NorthernBlues Music Inc. is a Canadian blues music label founded in July 2000 by Fred Litwin, a former Intel employee.

history

Litwin came into contact with Laskin and Borealis Records, a Canadian folk label, through Grit Laskin's CD. He invested in the company, which soon achieved a dominant position in the folk market. After leaving Intel, Litwin decided to found a label that would achieve for the blues in Canada what Borealis had achieved for the folk. His new company NorthernBlues Music Inc. is intended to be a home for Canadian blues musicians and his goal is that every Northern Music release is exceptional.
