Homemade Jamz Blues Band is an American blues band from Tupelo, Mississippi .

The band's history began when eight year old Ryan Perry found his father's electric guitar and immediately started playing. After just a month, he won a talent competition. Together with his younger brother Kyle on bass and little sister Taya he formed a band that soon made music history. Taya only had 2 months of drum lessons, the rest was natural. You were the youngest musician to ever get a contract with a major record company. In December 2007 they signed with Toronto-based NorthernBlues Music , which has a good reputation among blues fans. Her debut album Pay Me No Mind was released in June 2008 and I Got Blues for You followed in 2009 .

Greg Prato writes about their style in the All Music Guide that they are certainly worth listening to for fans of blues rock in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan or Jeff Healey and that their albums prove that they will be the leaders of the next generation of blues rock . And BB King said of them: “These young kids have got energy, talent and do the blues proud with their own flavor. I believe they've got a great future ahead. " (These kids have energy, talent and proudly play the blues with their own style. I think they have a great future ahead of them.) And about their debut album, Steve Legett writes in the All Music Guide: This is a group that can only get better, and that's a delightfully scary thought, because this album is pretty good already. (This is a band that can only get better and that's a good prospect because this album is pretty good.)

Despite their youth, they have played at many festivals and clubs in North America (for example the Chicago Blues Festival) and Europe. Another special feature of the band are the instruments, the guitar and the bass of the musicians are made from Ford auto parts, the logo is still visible. They are also in the charts, with their second album reaching number 11 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart and their debut album number 3.
