The Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) is the business school of the University of Nottingham in England.

It was founded as the School of Management and Finance from the Faculties Institute of Management Studies , Industrial Economics and Accounting and Insurance .

General

With over 2,500 students and over 200 employees, Nottingham University Business School is one of the leading institutions for management education at the Bachelor, Master and PhD level.

The NUBS is housed on the modern and award-winning Jubilee Campus , which was built from 1999. It is located approximately 2 km from the main Nottingham campus.

Individual programs are also offered at the University of Nottingham branches in China, Malaysia and Singapore.

Rankings / quality

In rankings, NUBS is regularly chosen among the 100 best business schools worldwide:

  • Financial Times Global MBA 2008: 76th place [1]
  • Economist Intelligence Unit: 62nd place [2]
  • The Aspen Institute ("Beyond gray stripes"): 28th place [3]

In the study by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) , NUBS teaching was rated as "excellent" and the research received the top rating of "5" in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) analysis.
