Nucleopolyhedrovirus

The genus Nucleopolyhedrovirus was one of two genera of the virus family Baculoviridae until the taxonomic reclassification in 2011 . A characteristic feature within the virus family was the property that nucleopolyhedroviruses contain several capsids within the virus envelope . The genus was divided into the three genera alphabaculovirus , gammabaculovirus and deltabaculovirus on the basis of sequence analyzes of the double-stranded DNA genome .
