Industrial pasta machine

A pasta machine is a mechanical kitchen appliance used to make pasta .

The classic pasta machine is a rolling and cutting tool. The pasta dough made from flour and egg must be absolutely dry, otherwise the rollers will stick together. In several passes it is brought to the desired thickness with the rolling mill, then rolled or cut into the desired shape with the cutting unit. The pasta machine is usually operated by hand with a crank, there are also versions in which an electric motor drives the work.

Another variant of the pasta machine is the pasta chair , in which a rolled-up dough is cut into slices.

The modern pasta machine works almost like its great role model in industrial production. It kneads the dough and then, like a meat grinder , presses it into the desired shape through appropriate nozzles.
