Nulli and Priestemut

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nulli und Priesemut is a picture book series by the author Matthias Sodtke .

The rabbit Nulli and the frog Priesemut are the protagonists of the picture book series of the same name. The first volume, “Are there any bums that taste like carrots?” (Lappan, 1994) shows how the two friends try each other's favorite food and do not find it particularly good for them. So - as in every subsequent volume - the central question arises whether the two are really real friends.

In the volume “Ausgelacht!” (2006) the pig Schorschi joins Nulli and Priesemut. At first it makes fun of Priesemut and pulls Nulli over to his side until things get too colorful for him and he defends his best friend.

This makes the theme of friendship the main focus of the book series.

The stories were also turned into cartoons and broadcast in the television series Die Sendung mit der Maus .
