Nuppel video

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NuppelVideo is a container format for audio-video data on hard disk recorders or similar devices. The associated file extension is .nuv . The video track is saved in Motion-JPEG format.

The format dates from around 2001 and is now technically obsolete, mainly due to its inefficient coding, and is no longer used. However, there are some programs, such as the VLC media player or Avidemux , that can still play or read this format.
