Outer fabric

As outer fabric generally visible from the outside is outer fabric designated layer. Many pieces of clothing have multiple layers. The outer fabric is the outermost layer, the lining the layer facing the body. Often there is a stiffening (solidification) flieseline or horsehair under the outer fabric, depending on the processing effort, and underneath (winter coat) or instead (transition jacket ) an insulating layer.
