Obert Mpfofu
Obert Mpfofu (born October 12, 1951 in Southern Rhodesia ) is a politician from Zimbabwe . He has been Minister of Mines in the government of Morgan Tsvangirai since February 13, 2009 (currently August 2011).
Mpfofu was Governor of Matabeleland North Province from 2002 to 2005 . From April 2005 to February 13, 2009 he was Minister of Industry and Commerce under Robert Mugabe . After the 2008 presidential election , he was appointed Minister of Mines on February 13, 2009.
