objectiF is a UML tool developed by microTOOL GmbH in Berlin for model-driven software development (Model-Driven Development / MDD). objectiF is notationally based on an older version of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and an early version of the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). It helps companies or development departments to create technical models, the technical models generated from them, and even automated code generation .

Business process modeling , object-oriented analysis , object-oriented design and implementation are supported. The code can be generated for different programming languages : Java , C # , VB.NET and C ++ .

objectiF can be integrated into the Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse development environments and thus enables round-trip engineering . ObjectiF's code generation is script-controlled and can be adapted by the user.

The development of a software system with a CASE tool like objectiF creates the basis for systematic structuring and comprehensive documentation, thus making it easier to understand how the developed system works .

objectiF is based on a multi-user online repository .
