Palanga observatory

The Palanga observatory (lit. Palangos observatorija ) is a people's observatory in the western Lithuanian spa town of Palanga . It is set up in a primary school in the city. The tower was built in 1984. The dome is now out of date and has no telescope . In 2011–2012 it is planned to renovate and invest 200,000 litas and use it for tourists .
