Ochzethaus

history

In the informative part of the Ochzethaus you can find antique objects (weapons, excavations, ...), short films and other interesting details about the life of the Romans . There is a so-called riddle rally for young visitors , in which several objects can be found in the display cases using question cards. If you participate successfully you will receive a medal.

Dressing room

Here visitors can dress up as Romans (including Caesar) or Gauls (including Asterix and Obelix). The provided helmets, swords, leather armor, capes and more can be used. Various distorting mirrors add to the entertainment.

Creativity room

Especially groups of children and schoolchildren can put together mosaics from old shards of different colors, build a model house (e.g. Roman bathhouse) from small stone bricks, assemble a giant puzzle and much more.
